Mumbai, September 16, 2026: Shri Jai Santoshi Mata Mitra Mandal is celebrating the 51st year of its revered Nagdevicha Maharaja, marking an important milestone in its devotional journey. To commemorate the occasion, the Mandal has presented Bappa in a distinctive form inspired by Tirupati Balaji, while also releasing an official devotional song dedicated to Nagdevicha Maharaja.

The official song was released on September 14, adding a musical dimension to this year’s celebrations. It has been voiced by renowned singer Dinesh Rajan Pawar, known for his devotional music and particularly for the popular song “Ganesh Galli Wala Majha,” dedicated to Mumbai’s well-known Ganesh Galli Wala Mumbaicha Raja.

The release of the song during the Mandal’s 51st year seeks to capture the devotion and emotional bond that generations of devotees share with Nagdevicha Maharaja. Through its lyrics and devotional composition, the song celebrates Bappa while reflecting the faith and traditions associated with the Mandal over the years.

This year’s celebrations have also been distinguished by the unique presentation of Nagdevicha Maharaja. Inspired by the divine form of Tirupati Balaji, the idol brings elements associated with South Indian religious traditions and temple aesthetics into the celebration. The concept creates a devotional setting that brings together different cultural expressions of faith while retaining the identity and traditions associated with Nagdevicha Maharaja.

The Tirupati Balaji-inspired presentation has been conceptualised as one of the highlights of the milestone year. The intricate appearance of the idol and the spiritual ambience surrounding it are intended to offer devotees a distinctive darshan experience as they come together to seek Bappa’s blessings.

Completing 51 years represents more than a chronological milestone for Shri Jai Santoshi Mata Mitra Mandal. Over the decades, the celebration has grown around a strong sense of community participation and devotion, with generations of devotees continuing to associate themselves with Nagdevicha Maharaja. The occasion is therefore both a celebration of the present and a reflection on the Mandal’s journey over more than five decades.

Music has long held an important place in Ganeshotsav celebrations across Maharashtra, with devotional songs becoming an integral part of the festivities and often developing a deep emotional connection with devotees. The launch of Nagdevicha Maharaja’s official song builds on this tradition, creating a musical identity for the 51st-year celebrations.

Singer Dinesh Rajan Pawar’s association with the song further adds to its significance. His earlier work, including “Ganesh Galli Wala Majha,” has made him a familiar voice among listeners of Ganpati devotional music. His rendition for Nagdevicha Maharaja brings together the celebratory energy of Ganeshotsav with a strong devotional character.

The song is expected to become an integral part of the Mandal’s festivities, allowing devotees to celebrate Nagdevicha Maharaja not only through darshan and prayers but also through music. It also provides devotees with a way to remain connected with Bappa and the Mandal’s celebrations beyond the physical venue.

As Mumbai’s Ganeshotsav traditions continue to bring communities together, milestone celebrations such as the 51st year of Nagdevicha Maharaja underline the enduring relationship between faith, culture and community. While the festival continues to evolve with new themes and creative presentations, devotion to Lord Ganesha remains at its heart.

For Shri Jai Santoshi Mata Mitra Mandal, the 51st year brings these elements together through the Tirupati Balaji-inspired form of Bappa and the release of the official song. The combination of visual grandeur, traditional influences and devotional music seeks to make this year memorable for devotees who have been part of the Mandal’s journey as well as those experiencing Nagdevicha Maharaja’s celebrations for the first time.

With the official song now released and the milestone festivities underway, Nagdevicha Maharaja’s 51st year stands as a celebration of more than five decades of devotion, tradition and togetherness.
