September 19, 2026: Silk Threads is set to present celebrated designer Rohit Verma at its 14th Annual Charity Gala, “The Tapestry of Dreams,” on October 3 at Hotel Indigo Irving – Las Colinas.
The fashion show will bring together fashion, culture and community, with Rohit Verma’s creations taking centre stage. Known for his distinctive approach to Indian couture, Rohit Verma blends traditional craftsmanship with contemporary silhouettes, creating ensembles that reflect India’s rich textile and embroidery heritage. His richly textured designs feature intricate Zardozi, Aari and Gota Patti handwork, with textiles personally curated from artisan communities. His work has been worn by Bollywood stars, on red carpets and during runway showcases.
Speaking about the showcase, Rohit Verma said, “Fashion has always been a way for me to celebrate our rich Indian craftsmanship, culture and traditions. Being part of the Silk Threads Charity Gala and presenting my work for a cause that supports communities in need makes this evening especially meaningful. I look forward to bringing my couture to Dallas and sharing this celebration of creativity, culture and giving back.”
The evening will also highlight the connection between fashion and giving back, with HungerMitao, an affinity group of the North Texas Food Bank, serving as the gala beneficiary. All tickets, sponsorships, silent auction purchases and contributions made to the event will support the North Texas Food Bank and Tarrant Area Food Bank as they work to close the hunger gap in North Texas.
