Mumbai, August 17, 2026 — Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited has announced the launch of its Initial Public Offering (IPO), with the subscription window opening on Thursday, August 20, 2026, and closing on Monday, August 24, 2026. The Anchor Investor Bid/Offer Date is scheduled for August 19, 2026.

IPO Price Band and Lot Size

The Company has fixed the price band at ₹285 to ₹300 per Equity Share of face value ₹4 each. Investors can bid for a minimum of 50 Equity Shares and in multiples of 50 thereafter.

Offer Structure

The IPO comprises:

  • Fresh Issue: Aggregating up to ₹95 crore
  • Offer-for-Sale (OFS): Up to 1.85 crore Equity Shares by promoter group and other selling shareholders

Promoter group selling shareholders include Amit Talesara, Puneet Talesara, and Chandra Prakash Talesara, while other selling shareholders include Ankit Talesara and Nirmal Kumar Pande.

Utilisation of Proceeds

From the net proceeds of the fresh issue:

  • ₹18.13 crore will be utilised towards capital expenditure for electrical heating and specialised cable solutions.
  • ₹55 crore will be used for pre-payment or scheduled repayment of certain outstanding borrowings.
  • The balance will be allocated towards general corporate purposes.

Company Overview

Tempsens Instruments (India) Limited is a thermal engineering and specialised cable manufacturer, engaged in designing and manufacturing customised temperature sensing solutions, electrical heating solutions, and specialised cables.

According to the F&S Report, the Company was India’s largest manufacturer of contact and non-contact temperature sensors by revenue as of March 31, 2026, holding approximately 10.5% of the temperature sensor market in FY26. It was also the only Indian manufacturer of non-contact temperature sensors, with a 21.3% market share in that segment.

Between April 2023 and March 2026, the Company served more than 1,000 unique customers and exported products to over 80 countries. Together with its joint ventures, it operates 15 manufacturing units globally, including ten in Udaipur.

Financial Performance

Tempsens has demonstrated strong growth in recent years:

  • Revenue from operations increased to ₹444.8 crore in FY26 from ₹274.8 crore in FY24.
  • Net profit rose to ₹71 crore in FY26 from ₹40.9 crore in FY24.

This growth reflects the Company’s expanding market presence and rising demand for its specialised thermal engineering solutions.

IPO Management

The IPO is being made through the book-building process, with allocation norms as follows:

  • Not more than 50% of the net offer available for Qualified Institutional Buyers (QIBs)
  • Not less than 15% for Non-Institutional Bidders (NIIs)
  • Not less than 35% for Retail Individual Bidders

ICICI Securities Limited and JM Financial Limited are the Book Running Lead Managers, while KFin Technologies Limited is the Registrar. The Equity Shares are proposed to be listed on BSE and NSE.
