Mumbai, July 15, 2026 — The Board of Directors of Union Bank of India today approved the financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 (Q1FY27), showcasing strong profitability, healthy business growth, and continued improvement in asset quality.

Key Financial Highlights

  • Net Profit: ₹5,332 Crores in Q1FY27, up 29.57% YoY.
  • Interest Income: ₹27,203 Crores, reflecting steady growth.
  • Net Interest Income (NII): ₹10,037 Crores, up 10.15% YoY.
  • Operating Profit: ₹8,003 Crores, up 15.83% YoY.
  • Return Ratios: RoA at 1.36% and RoE at 17.23%.

Business Growth

  • Total Business: ₹23,79,697 Crores, up 7.46% YoY.
  • Gross Advances: ₹10,96,331 Crores, up 12.50% YoY.
  • Global Deposits: ₹12,83,366 Crores, up 3.50% YoY.
  • CASA Deposits: ₹4,50,305 Crores, with CASA ratio at 35.09%.

Growth in Retail, Agriculture, and MSME (RAM) Segments

  • RAM Advances: ₹6,08,095 Crores, up 11.56% YoY.
  • Retail Advances: ₹2,56,653 Crores, up 12.06% YoY.
  • MSME Advances: ₹1,68,258 Crores, up 16.49% YoY.
  • RAM advances accounted for 57.31% of domestic advances, underscoring Union Bank’s focus on inclusive growth.

Asset Quality Improvement

  • Gross NPA: Reduced to 2.65%, down 87 bps YoY.
  • Net NPA: Reduced to 0.47%, down 15 bps YoY.
  • Provision Coverage Ratio (PCR): Improved to 95.05%.

Capital Adequacy

  • CRAR: 18.46% as of June 30, 2026.
  • CET-1 Ratio: Improved to 16.38% from 15.30% a year earlier.

Financial Inclusion & Green Initiatives

  • PMJJBY: 2.23 lakh new enrollments in Q1FY27.
  • PMSBY: 6.70 lakh new enrollments.
  • PMJDY: 3.45 crore accounts with balances of ₹15,943 Crores.
  • APY: 2.39 lakh new enrollments.
  • Union Nari Shakti Scheme: Sanctioned 1,817 applications worth ₹321 Crores for women entrepreneurs.
  • Green Initiatives:
    • Renewable Energy Sector: Sanctioned ₹34,363 Crores.
    • Union Green Vehicle: Sanctioned ₹2,819 Crores.
