Mumbai, August 28, 2026: Warriors Dream Series (WDS), one of India’s leading MMA promotions, is set to host Fight Night 18 on August 29 at the CIDCO Exhibition & Convention Centre, Mumbai, bringing together Indian and international fighters for a 13-bout professional MMA card.
Ahead of the event, WDS organised a press conference where participating fighters discussed their preparations, upcoming matchups and experiences competing on a professional card featuring international opposition.
Fight Night 18 will feature athletes from India and across Asia, including fighters from the Philippines and Russia. Among the key matchups, India’s Jeko Laishram will face Kimbert Alintozon of the Philippines in the Flyweight division, while Tarun M Hiremath and Gaganpal Singh Dua will compete in the Light Heavyweight division.
Sanjivan Padwal, Founder, Warriors Dream Series, said WDS aims to build an Indian MMA property to global standards, focusing on professional fight curation, athlete development, production and fan experience. He added that providing Indian fighters with opportunities to compete against international athletes is central to taking Indian MMA to the global stage.

Since April 2022, WDS has hosted 24 editions and more than 1,800 professional and amateur bouts through its Fight Night and Rising Stars properties.
The promotion continues to focus on developing Indian fighters, creating opportunities for international competition and strengthening the country’s growing MMA and combat sports ecosystem.
