Mumbai, April 21, 2026:
The KHG Innovation Foundation (KHGIF) has taken a decisive step to bring radical change to India’s healthcare sector by selecting four major health‑technology startups for the year 2025‑26. The initiative aims to provide millions of people across the country with affordable, non‑surgical, and life‑saving healthcare facilities. High‑quality healthcare, once limited to cities, is now set to reach the remotest rural communities through these “collaborators.”

Speaking about the selection, Padma Vibhushan Dr. R. A. Mashelkar said:
“These innovators embody the life philosophy of Dr. Gharada. Transformative science should not be restricted to a few, but must serve the many. The principle of ‘lower cost, for more people, with better facilities’ is being realized by all four researchers.”

Among the selected startups:

Agatsya Software has developed a device that measures blood sugar and blood pressure without the use of needles, enabling painless diagnosis.

Remedio Innovative Solutions has introduced glaucoma diagnostic technology at 70% lower cost, a boon for general clinics.

Fast Sense Innovations has created a rapid diagnostic tool capable of detecting life‑threatening conditions like sepsis within minutes.

Ayu Devices has developed a digital stethoscope that allows accurate diagnosis of heart and lung diseases at primary health centers.

Professor Anil Gupta noted that India’s healthcare system is being reshaped by scientists who believe it is possible to reduce costs without compromising quality. The KHG Foundation will provide these startups with technical guidance, capital, and essential market networks. Together with two startups selected last year, a total of six projects are now ready to combat non‑communicable diseases in India.

This technology, which enables accurate diagnosis and treatment even outside hospitals, is expected to strengthen the vision of Digital India and Healthy India.
