Veteran actor Zarina Wahab shared heartfelt insights into her experience working on The RajaSaab during the #NacheNache song launch, calling the film one of the most significant projects of her career.

When asked whether The RajaSaab would finally showcase her in a strong, standard-defining role in a true pan-India film, Zarina Wahab responded with visible emotion. “This is a very big film for me, and I have never played such a good role before. I really enjoyed working on this project,” she said.

Zarina Wahab revealed that she plays Prabhas’s grandmother in the film and spoke warmly about their on-screen bond. Calling their chemistry “wonderful,” she shared a fond anecdote from the sets. Recalling a particular scene, Zarina Wahab said that while she was delivering her lines, Prabhas remained silent, I was so mesmerised by his performance that I completely forgot my own lines. It was such a sweet moment,” she said

Praising Prabhas beyond his performance, Zarina Wahab highlighted his respect for artists and the people around him. “There are very few people who truly appreciate the work of an artist, and Prabhas is one of them,” she said, calling the experience of working with him deeply fulfilling.

She also addressed the often-discussed topic of Prabhas’s hospitality on set, noting that his generosity extended far beyond the lead actors. “People talk about Prabhas’s food, but it’s not just for the artists. It’s for everyone on the set — every worker and every member of the unit,” she said, underlining the inclusive atmosphere during the shoot.

Zarina Wahab concluded by describing the environment on the sets of The RajaSaab as warm and respectful, crediting the team for making the experience memorable. Headlined by Prabhas, the film continues to generate strong buzz as a major pan-India release. Directed and written by Maruthi, The RajaSaab is produced by People Media Factory and also stars Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani. The film is slated for release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam on 9th January 2025
