A high‑level meeting was convened at the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA) under the chairmanship of Hon’ble Metropolitan Commissioner Dr. Sanjay Mukherjee, IAS, to take forward the development of the proposed Innovation City in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR).

The discussions were held in continuation of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed at Davos 2026 between MMRDA, Tata Group, and the Department of Industries, Government of Maharashtra.
